Sweet 16 has been set: <- Shelvin Mack (Butler) he has stepped it up especially in game 2
From a tournament standpoint, the following leagues are represented in the Sweet 16 ACC - 3 (Duke, North Carolina, FL State) Big East - 2 (U Conn, Marquette) Big 10 - 2 (Ohio State, Wisconsin Mountain West 2 - (BYU, San Diego St) SEC - 2 (Florida, Kentucky) ATL 10 - 1 (Richmond) Big 12 - 1 (Kansas) Horizon - 1 (Butler) Colonial - 1 (VCU) Pac 10 - 1 (Arizona)
Current year: Crap shoot as to who will win our tournament game in 2011. This year, for the first time in a couple of years we are not crowning Rob Stenzel with the victory already. Newcomer Ralph Trevino team has moved into # 1 position and is projected to remain # 1 after the Sweet 16 games. Dennis Hammer with 14 players remaining is sitting in 3rd position but only 75 points behind Trevino who only has 7 players remaining so depending on his player's performance, he stands a great chance to move up. There are some key matchups in the Sweet 16 where the outcome and the performance of the player should better define where we are headed. A surprise this year is the Seymour team who currently resides in 2nd place and have some key players still remaining and despite their lack of preparation come draft night have a great chance of finishing in a money position. The matchups for this weekend has been prepared and if you go to the Sweet 16 Matchups tab, you can retrieve a copy of this Thursday and Friday matchups.
